Ered Massie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her MSW in 2012 at CUNY-Hunter College, as part of an intentional career change. In 2019, after living in New York City for nearly 20 years, she took a personal and professional sabbatical, which led to a decision to relocate to Antigua, Guatemala. Throughout her social work career, she worked in outpatient mental health for major hospital systems and community-based nonprofits, pursued post-graduate training in family & couples therapy, and now has a private therapy practice. Ered's interests and passions include travel, learning about the culture and history of her new home through a radical social work/anti-colonialist lens, and her poodle-ish rescue dog named Edgar.
