Katie Tracy, MHRM

Katie Tracy had a knack for organizing for as long as she can

remember. Her childhood bedroom was only 72 square feet and

she used every opportunity (and inch of space!) to rearrange,

reorganize, and reinvent the small space.

Katie started her professional organizing business, Simple Spaces,

in 2010 and worked with individuals and families to help clear out the

"stuff" that cluttered their homes and lives. While doing that work

she learned how organizing is about so much more than just the

stuff. It is about relationships, emotions, the past, and the future. Her

passion now is to connect the worlds of professional organizing and

mental health so that clients can clear both the physical AND mental

clutter.

Katie has a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters in Human

Resource Management. She is an active member of the National

Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO),

The Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), a Certified

Professional Organizer®, and author of: Behind the Closed Door:

The mental stress of physical stuff. Katie shares a simple life in

New Jersey with her husband and young daughters.
